About us

The folks at Book Forge Press have gathered to accomplish a singular and important goal: find, edit, and publish striking fiction from authors all across the world. The Book Forge, our bookstore and writing workshop located at 3 South Main Street in Orange, MA is our physical HQ.

To us, being a small press means being fiercely devoted to our authors. It means we commit a tremendous amount of time to each acquisition, and that we're allies before we're editors or publishers. To that end, our royalties are among the highest in the industry with a 70-30 split. It seems plain to us that authors deserve far more than the paltry 8% cuts some major publishing houses offer.
 

We're actively seeking out novels in all genres, but are currently especially interested in horror, science fiction, and fantasy.
